An elk herd momentarily stopped traffic as the group barreled across a roadway in Creede, Colorado, in late January, newly released video shows. Footage posted to X by Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) shows the elk herd galloping across the pavement. "Sure, some call Wednesdays 'hump day' but we like to call it HERD DAY," said CPW. At the end of the video, a lone pronghorn is seen crossing the road after the elk herd, according to CPW. Kyle Malinky, who captured this video, said he filmed it as he was traveling on the road on January 27.
