The National Weather Service issued Severe Thunderstorm Warning for several areas around Phoenix in Arizona on Monday, September 23. There are some threats of thunderstorms, rain, and flash flood potential throughout the state. Heavy rain was already falling in areas. A possible tornado was reported in New River, Maricopa County, north of Phoenix, cars were stranded and streets flooded in Apache Junction.
