Curious Rat Crashes Couple's Colosseum Dinner

What could be better than a romantic meal with Rome's Colosseum as a backdrop? Probably not one that involves a rat, but that didn't stop a couple sharing some of their food with one that poked its nose into their picturesque dining experience. Vasil Velchev and his wife Petya had travelled to Rome for the recent half marathon and were out for dinner close to the iconic ancient site when they spotted the rodent. 'The day before the race we had a dinner at the restaurant in front of the Colosseum. She asked me to take her a photo,' Velchev said. 'Suddenly she saw the rat above my head.
