Aggregatibacter bacteria, computer illustration. Aggregatibacter are Gram-negative bacteria. The most commonly found species are . aphrophilus and A. actinomycetemcomitans. A. aphrophilus, previously known as Haemophilus aphrophilus, and Actinobacillus aphrophilus. They are part of the normal flora of the mouth and throat.
