Balmoral Castle, the British Royal Family’s house when in Scotland. It is situated near Crathie in Aberdeenshire. The original house was purchased by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1852 but was found to be too small so it was demolished and rebuilt as the current Balmoral Castle in 1856.
