"Aguja de Cleopatra" ( Cleopatra's Needle ) refers to a pair of ancient Egyptian obelisks, originally erected in Heliopolis and later moved to Alexandria. The name is a misnomer, as Cleopatra had little to do with their creation, which occurred centuries before her time under the pharaohs Thutmose III and Ramesses II. The obelisks were moved to the Caesareum of Alexandria by the Romans in 12 BCE, and in the 19th century, one was gifted to London and the other to New York CityOriginal edition from my own archivesSource : Egipto - Jorge Ebers 1882
