Major Richard Waldron (1615 - 1689) was an English-born merchant, soldier, and government official who rose to prominence in early colonial Dover, New Hampshire. The natives took revenge on Waldron for his actions during King Philip's War. Wood engraving after a drawing by Felix Darley (American illustrator and engraver, 1824 - 1888), published in 1876.
