Erasmus - stock illustration
Erasmus (Desiderius) of Rotterdam (1465/69 - 1536) was a Dutch scholar of European humanism. He was a theologian, catholic priest, philosopher, philologist and author of numerous books. Woodcut engraving after an original (1540) by Hans Holbein (German painter and engraver), published in 1881.
