John the Magnanimous - stock illustration
John Frederick I, called "John the Magnanimous", Elector of Saxony (Johann Friedrich I. der Großmütige, Kurfürst von Sachsen, 1503 - 1554) from the house of Wettin Ernestine was from 1532 to 1547 Elector and Duke of Saxony. Woodcut engraving after a painting by Lucas Cranach (German painter) and an etching by Wolfgang Kilian (German engraver, 1581 - 1663), published in 1881.
