Leopold I, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau, called "The Old Dessauer" (1676 - 1747) was Prince of Anhalt-Dessau, the first important Prussian army reformer and one of the most popular Prussian generals. Woodcut engraving after an etching by Georg Friedrich Schmidt (German painter and engraver, 1712 - 1775), published in 1881.
