Shape: It is upright and somewhat barrel-shaped or conical, with a flat base and a slightly sunken top.Structure: The surface is covered in roughly 18 to 22 vertical ridges (ribs) connected by smaller horizontal lines, giving it a "brick-like" or reticulated texture.Color Changes: When first laid, the egg is a pale creamy yellow.
