Monument of Henry the Lion, Brunswick - stock illustration
Illustration of the original Brunswick Lion sculpture, built by Henry the Lion in 1166 as a sign of royal supremacy. In order to protect the original, a faithful replica of the original has stood on the Burgplatz since 1989. The original is in the Dankwarderode Castle. It is the most famous landmark of the city of Brunswick.
