There are 26 layers in all, each region being on its own named layer.There is also a base land layer covering the whole region, so should you wish to delete some countries or regions there will be land beneath the deleted ones. The sea is on a layer, as is a 3D edge to the land mass, which can be removed if not required and additional sea detail and compass are also on their own layers. The Canary Islands are on a separate grouped layer, bottom left of the map, as their real geographic position is outside the map area. They can easily be moved or removed."
