Friedrich von Wrangel (Prussian Field Marshal, 1784 - 1877) and the militia in front of the Playhouse (Schauspielhaus) in Berlin. On November 10, 1848, Wrangel marched against revolutionary Berlin. There was a dispute with the commander of the militia, Major Otto Rimpler: both agreed on a bloodless process, and the militia surrendered into the hands of the general, who immediately dissolved the meeting of people's representatives in the theater, on November 12, the state of siege and finally imposed martial law on the Prussian capital on the 14th.
