The Amazing Acro-Cats

Arlington, MA - July 29: Karma Hurworth, an assistant for The Amazing Acro-Cats, brings a cat performer back onto the tour bus after Fridays performance at the Regent Theatre. Founded by Samantha Martin, The Amazing Acro-Cats is a traveling troupe of trained cats. Martin, who also runs Rock Cats Rescue in Georgia, uses clicker training to train her cats, a technique involving only positive reinforcement. Martin and her team of all-female assistants tour the U.S. in their bus, formerly owned by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Outfitted with a cat room in the back fondly referred to as kitty city, Martins bus travels the country with nearly 20 cats, two rats and one chicken.
