As part of his Slave Dwelling Project, Joseph McGill and a handful of folks from Alabama stir after spending the night in this slave cabin behind Magnolia Grove manor on Thursday, May 25, 2017, in Greensboro, AL. McGill, from Charleston, South Carolina, passed through the area as part of his mission to sleep a night in every extant slave quarters in the country. Since he started the Slave Dwelling Project seven years ago, he has slept in 96.
