Celebrated American blues artist B.B. Ki
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN: Celebrated American blues artist B.B. King laughs during a press conference in Stockholm 21 May 2004. The 78-year-old King will receive the 2004 Polar Music Prize from King Carl XVI Gustaf next week. King will share the the one million kronor (110,000 Euro) award with Hungarian-born composer Gyoergy Ligeti. The award was founded in 1989 by Stig Anderson, manager of Swedish pop group ABBA.
