City asset manager Nicola Horlick during a news conference, describing how she was mugged at gunpoint last night. City "Superwoman" Nicola Horlick told how she defiantly stood up to a gun-wielding mugger who threatened to kill her in a terrifying attack outside her home. The 43-year-old mother-of-five, who runs her own high-flying asset management company, refused to hand over her valuables, even when the attacker threatened her with a pistol. Her assailant smashed the gun into the side of her head and pinned her to the ground, but Ms Horlick still managed to keep him from stealing her diamond ring.
