WESTMINSTER, CO (05-11-2006) -- Demolition crews worked Thursday afternoon at the site of the Holly Park townhome project at 96th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, just south of the Wishbone restaurant. The development site has been an eyesore for neighbors since 2001 when the original contractor abandoned the project after building only 12 of 70 units of the original plan. A bird flew out of an electical box past broken windows in one the units that will be torn down. The townhome was never occupied after it's construction.
