enny Lind School Students Celebrate Reading with Cookies, Pie Eating, and a Little Hair Dying As part of February's " I Love to Read" month, Jenny Lind students and staff challenged themselves to read 10,000 books by the month's end. If they met their goal, principal Nancy Shaner and assistant principal Denise Wells were to have their hair dyed in Jenny Lind School colors (purpIe and teal) atid participate in a pie-eating contest, along with six other staff members. Each student would also receive a cookie.
