circa 1775: Enoch Poor (1736-1780). Continental soldier. Active in pre Revolutionary activities in New Hampshire, member NH provincial congress, regimental colonel of 2nd NH Reg't. 1775, with the Quebec Campaign '76, at Trenton '76, a brigadier general '77, Morristown, Princeton and w/ Gates vs. Burgoyne at Saratoga '77, with Sullivan's Expedition vs. the Iroquois '79.
