Today, the Met Police named an additional suspect in the UK's most notorious racist killing, in which 18-year-old Stephen Lawrence was fatally stabbed by a gang of young white men in Eltham in April 1993. The new, sixth suspect was named as Matthew White, who died in 2021 aged 50.
