(Original Caption) Here are the four men who carry the Republican hopes of winning top offices in the state of New York in November elections. They were engaged in a four way handshake after they were nominated at the GOP Convention in Syracuse. From left are Frank Del Vecchio for Controller; J. Raymond McGovern, for Lt. Governor; Sen. Irving Ives, for Governor; and Rep. Jacob K. Javits for Attorney General. Javits will have Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr., for his opponent. The son of the late president accepted this nomination after failing to win nomination for governor.
