(EDITOR'S COMMENT: Graphic Content) Jannah Mutair rests as her umbilical hernia worsens at Nasser Health Complex in Khan Yunis, Gaza, on November 8, 2025. Jannah was born two months early, after a pregnancy affected by the war, lack of food, water, and healthcare, which caused her to be born with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome (BWS) and anemia. Doctors at Nasser Medical Complex confirmed the urgent need to transfer her for treatment outside Gaza due to the lack of proper facilities and medicines in Nasser Hospital. Despite the ceasefire in Gaza, the region remains in urgent need of humanitarian aid, including food and medicine.
