AUG 8 1981, AUG 9 1981 Just a little bit off target Spectators help pilot Bill Cunningham of Memphis with his balloon after it missed its landing target and came down an a road near Red Rocks Park Saturday morning. Cunningham was participating with 25 other top professionals in the Denver-area phase of the Kool Pro Balloon Tour. In this, the first contest of a three race card, the balloons took off from Heritage Square in Golden and headed for the landing target near Red Rock, but there was no winner because no one hit the target.
