Los Angeles, UNITED STATES: A visitor views some of the most famous works by Belgian surrealist Rene Magritte (1898-1967) including "Ceci N'est Pas Une Pipe" ("This Is Not A Pipe"), at the preview of "Magritte and Contemporary Art: The Treachery of Images" at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), 15 November 2006 in California. The show is the first major exhibition to explore Magritte's impact on contemporary artists, and features 68 pieces by Magritte with another 68 works by contemporary artists. The exhbition installation is specially designed to feature an inventive presentation which includes clouds on the floor, freeways on the ceiling, with all gallery guards dressed in bowler hats and black suits.
