(Original Caption) 12/15/1978-New York,NY-John Travolta seems to be expanding his artistic direction these days. Currently in New York in connection with the release of his latest film, "Moment by Moment,"co-starring Lily Tomlin, John seems to be staying away from discos now. However,during a night on the town 12/14 he went backstage at City Center to meet Alvin Ailey and the dance troupe which he admires.Here Ailey gives Travolta some pointers on technique.Travolta said he also wants to meet choreographer Twyla Thorp.
