10_20_05_LAKEWOOD,COLORADO--No clowning around, Jefferson High School has had a clown club for 2 years <cq>. The popular after school club attracts up to 27 students, "depending on what sport is going on," said sponsor and founder of the group Tim Martinez <cq>. Martinez is also the school's security guard. The students learn the basics of applying make-up all the way to how to act like and be a clown for parties. The kids even got to go back stage at the Barnum&Bailey circus to meet one-on-one with professional clowns.
