PHOENICIA, NY - MAY 25: On Memorial Day a Pine Hill Fire truck outfitted with American Flags takes part in the vehicular motorcade parade and ceremony to show support and remember those who have died serving in our armed forces for our country down Main Street in Phoenica, NY. On May 19, 2020, New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, New York state will allow Memorial Day ceremonies with 10 people or less and vehicle parades in honor of veterans,. Some towns have chosen to cancel their annual Memorial Day Parade. The Governor also stated that towns that choose to do so should make sure that people attending any ceremonies wear personal protective equipment to prevent more outbreaks of the Coronavirus pandemic.
