(FILES) - A picture taken on April 1, 2008 in Castellane shows doctor Philippe Van Winkelberg of the French charity Zoe's Ark and his lawyer Francoise Davideau giving a press conference, the day after being freed of the Draguignan's jail. Six French aid workers pardoned by Chad's president after being sentenced to hard labour for trying to fly children out of Chad were freed from jail in France. Van Winkelberg has been summonsed to appear on October 13, 2011 by the court in the southern French city of Digne-les-Bains to answer the Chadian award of 6.3 million euros (nine million dollars) in damages and interest due to the victims' families remains tangled up in legal argument.
