(Original Caption) 5/5/1965-Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic-Peace Corps nurse Arleen Serino of Bronx, New York, attends a woman whose leg was blown off by a mortar shell explosion at a hospital near the Duarte Bridge here 5/4. Dozens of Peace Corps voluteers stayed behind in rebel-held areas to attend the wounded, as bombing and bloodshed continued.
