WHITEMARGIN UNICORNFISH
HUON ATOLL, NEW-CALEDONIA - FEBRUARY 24: A school of whitemargin unicornfishÌý(Naso annulatus) is swimming in open water near Entrecasteaux reefs on February 24, 2020 in Huon Atoll, New-Caledonia. Naso annulatus is the largest of the 81 species of surgeonfish. Its lips are white, and it has a bump on the top of the muzzle, which becomes a true horn in adulthood. The whitemargin unicornfish has a double scalpel at the base of its caudal fin, which is extended by long, clear filaments at the ends. The Entrecasteaux Reefs, including the Huon Lagoon, have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since July 2008. They are also part of the Coral Sea Natural Park, the largest marine protected area in France and the fourth largest in the world. (Photo by Alexis Rosenfeld/Getty Images)
