GENERAL INFORMATION: NEWS- 7-29-2000-Split Rock Lighthouse,The 90th anniversary oof the first lighting of the Split Rock Lighthouse IN THIS PHOTO: The 90th anniversary of its first lighting was recreated on the grounds of the Split Rock lighthouse on Saturday night. Lee Radzak, Split Rock Site Manager, looks out over the water from the top of the light house shortly after lighting the 1000 watt bulb. 242 pieces of glass help create the frensal spot that throws the light over miles of water. There willbe another lighting on Monday night.
