The Blakeman family celebrates the third annual 'Concert for Kyle' at Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch, themed "Remember, Celebrate, Educate." Kendall Rossing, 9, has a "KB" painted on her face in remembrance of Kyle. The benefit concert will offer community members the chance to remember and celebrate the inspirational life of Kyle Blakeman, a ThunderRidge High School student diagnosed at 13 with a rare cancer, Renal Medullary Carcinoma, and also educate attendees about childhood cancer, the second leading cause of death among children in the United States. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Kyle Blakeman Memorial Fund, which has raised over $18,000 to date for the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders at The Children's Hospital in Denver.
