THis is a typical house in the area of ANAPRA, just on the outskirts of Juarez, Mexico where the group of YOUTHWORKS kids were doing their building projects. There are better homes and there are more homes in much worse conditions, this is a home belonging to Maria (LUCY) Chavez and will be rebuilt by funds from the White Bear Baptist Church and the Congregational Church in Detroit Lakes.....Lucy lives here with her 4 children, she and her husband (who is working illegally) in the Chicago area) have apartial structure of Cinder block but have been unable to finish it due to lack of money and his absence from the area. She offered everything she had so that the work next door would go smoother....her small amount of electricity (to run the kids powersaw) water, which is trucked in weekely...and expensive, as well as lunch or food for all, a good Samaratain that asked nothing in return.(Photo By STORMI GREENER/Star Tribune via Getty Images)
