Dwight Eisenhower Holding Fish

(Original Caption) Too Tiny For Ike. Parmachenee Lake, Maine: For benefit of photographers, President Eisenhower holds up a trout he caught in the Magalloway River near Parmachenee Lake, Maine. The president got three fish in about twenty minutes, but tossed them all back because they ranged from 7 to 10 inches. He called this one, "just a Rhode Island", fisherman's term for a fish too small to keep.
