Barcelona, SPAIN: Using a hand-held blowtorch and large tweezers, pastry chef Christian Escriba attaches candy stamen into a candy flower ring 15 January 2006, in his shop of Barcelona. Escriba, a fourth-generation pastry chef, often seems closer to an artist than the baker down the street.
