A view of the The Royal Standard Flag which flew from the Late Queen Mother's Car whilst on tour in South Africa with Princess's Elizabeth (late Queen Elizabeth II) and Margaret in 1947, accompanied by a Prince of Wales tie-pin given by HRH Edward Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII) to his chauffeur Joseph Nesbitt in Rhodesia during his 1925 tour of South Africa, during a press view at Catherine Southon Auctioneers and Valuers in Chislehurst, Kent, and feature amongst items being sold by the family of Joseph Nesbit, who worked as a chauffeur for members of the Royal Household in Rhodesia from 1921-1952, and his wife Harriett, who worked in the kitchen at Government House and helped to cook the banquets held for the Royal family and other dignitaries.
