Abrus precatorius is a perennial vine seen often intwine on trees, shrubs and fences. It is a legume and is best known of it's seeds. Seeds are toxic but they are often used as beads and in percussion instruments. Plant is native to India but has been introduced to many subtropical and tropical parts of the world.
