This is a comparison photograph showing the differences between Imantodes cenchoa and Imantodes lentiferus. Both species are nocturnal non-venomous snakes that hunt sleeping lizards in the trees. These animals were seen in eastern Ecuador and occur in the Amazon Basin region of South America.
