Completed in 1871 during the Hawaiian Monarchy, this Renaissance Revival structure was the first dedicated post office in the islands. The building features a distinctive two-story concrete block facade with Doric columns and a balustraded lanai. It currently houses the Kumu Kahua Theatre. The historic architecture contrasts with the modern high-rise office tower visible in the background, illustrating the contrasts of the city's business district.
