I must have been by this place a dozen times and never knew this existed. This is Thor's well.. a natural phenomenon that is so amazing I have scarcely the words to describe it. It is a huge hole in the ground on a rocky plate or out cropping at the Cape Perpetua area along the Oregon Coast.It is approximately 10 ft in diameter and has a huge hole at the bottom.. as the tide comes in it fills up and then when it goes out it empties.. creating a wonderful waterfall within the well.
