A View From About 8500" Up. From time to time, I"u2019d make a point to look around and survey the views on my hike to High Dune in Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve. Sometime to catch my breath and others because of the vista-like views! Here I chose the latter with e look down to what by azimuth appeared to be the Buck Creek area. With the view across the sand dune ridges, it had this sweeping look to this setting in the national park. I also liked how the lower ridges of Mount Zwischen gave both a terrain and color contrast with the more earth tones in the nearby sand dunes. I later worked with control points in DxO PhotoLab 3 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.
