Young Curly-tailed Lizard -Leiocephalus carinatus - stock photo
This little reptile is native to the Bahama Islands, the Cayman Islands, Cuba, and Honduras. In an attempt to control sugar cane pest it was intentionally released in Palm Beach in the 1940s and has thrived successfully in surrounding areas. This was photographed in Stuart, Florida.
