Turkish Formula 1 plans to host 100,000 fans in line with Covid restrictions
ISTANBUL, TURKEY - SEPTEMBER 01: CEO and Chairman of the Board at Intercity Vural Ak said that they are planning to host 100,000 fans in accordance with COVID-19 measures in Formula 1 Grand Prix later this year.
Ak said the contract which they signed for one year would be extended depending on the success of the race.
If we, as Intercity Istanbul Park, organize this huge event successfully there will be a big possibility to have this contract for long time, but due to the pandemic there are unforeseen conditions and for now our contract is only for one year, he said.
