Congresswoman Ansari says Trump Administration canceled funding for Iranian human rights organizations

Arizona Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari says at a news conference on protests in Iran and the regime's reaction that her focus was the fact there is no internet in Iran and Donald Trump has done absolutely nothing to support internet freedom in the country, with the President actually canceling funding illegally towards a number of human rights organizations that track ongoing issues on the ground in Iran, with that funding needing to be resumed immediately, noting there is bipartisan legislation on the table like the Freedom Act that would help with direct to cell service and connectivity for the Iranian people that should come to the floor immediately and could be funded.
