Senator Kelly says hard work makes somebody else rich as middle class families doing everything right still cannot afford rent, health care and utilities on a monthly paycheck

Arizona Senator Mark Kelly says at a news conference on introduction of the Working Americans' Tax Cut Act too many families were doing everything right and still could not get ahead as rent, health care and utility bills made the monthly math impossible, and he described his own path from son of two cops attending public schools to Navy pilot, astronaut and senator as evidence that hard work once paid off, arguing the difference today was not that hard work stopped mattering but that middle class hard work now primarily made somebody else rich.
