Severe flooding, landslide kills at least 18 in Uganda
KAMPALA, UGANDA - MAY 3: At least 18 people were killed in Uganda by severe flooding and landslides triggered by heavy rains, which also destroyed around 80 houses.According to the Uganda Red Cross on Wednesday, eight people including five members of one family died in a landslide in the western Kisoro district.Kisoro district resident commissioner, Safiq Ssekandi, said the heavy rain also destroyed over 100 houses.
