We signed the Oslo Accord with the Palestinian authority hoping that it would being a cessation to violence and end of conflict etc, but unfortunately neither Yasser Arafat or Mahmoud Abbas ? really worked to stop the violence ... in order to become an employee on the Palestinian authority you need to do two things, one is to register the application, and the second one you have to become a terrorist to kill Israeli's, to be arrested, to be put in an Israeli jail and then become officially an employee in the Palestinian Authority. You are getting a monthly salary and getting paid under Palestinian law. Its not a gesture its a law. - It shows you that the when the Palestinian Authority is supplying terrorists with salaries, you have a problem, we have a bigger problem.
