This clip features a backpacker hiking on a muddy trail at Cerro Chirripo, Costa Rica. Puddles often turn trails into slippery mud. These can range from easily stepped-around spots to ankle-deep obstacles, making trails challenging and requiring proper footwear (like waterproof boots) or gaiters to navigate.
